Profile Valet For Android

Having to manually switch settings on your phone is so annoying! Profile Valet automatically change your phone’s settings and profiles for you, according to your location or schedule. It’s ridiculously easy to use too.

What is it?

Profile Valet, Android, Free. You know when you go to work and your lovely Kanye West ringtone accidentally blares off because you were an idiot and forgot to switch your phone to silent? Yeah, that wouldn’t happen with Profile Valet. Or how about when you go home, sit on the can and want to watch YouTube videos but forgot to switch the WiFi back on? Yup, Profile Valet solves that too. It’s an app that automates your settings for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, display brightness, display timeout, ringtone, all volume controls and vibration in accordance to your location or schedule.

Who’s it good for?

People who want to make their smartphone, smarter. And people who have different phone settings depending on where they are or what day it is.

Why’s it better than alternatives?

Other apps can do similar things (like Locale and Tasker), but cost money or are mind-numbingly complicated to use. Profile Valet keeps it simple, hell, it pretty much holds your hand when you set up a new profile. Do you want to set a location-based or schedule-based profile? What settings do you want to change in this profile? Bada bing, bada boom it’s set. I’ve always loved the idea of setting these sort of location-based profiles but was always too lazy to learn how to set them up. I don’t have an excuse anymore with Profile Valet.

How could it be even better?

It might mess up the app’s simplicity but I’d love a few more options to control. Like turning off work email during the weekend or having certain phone numbers still ring through no matter what.
