Is The MacBook Air The Perfect Traveling Writer’s Laptop?

The 11.6-inch MacBook Air: One well-traveled, veteran author labels it the “perfect writer’s machine.” As a 13-inch owner myself, I’m inclined to agree, somewhat, with one pretty substantial caveat: Let’s add “established” or something similar before “writer,” shall we?

Ten Facts You Should Know About the LHC

Neatorama has put together a good list of 10 basic questions on the Large Hadron Collider. It doesn’t answer questions like “Why the heck can’t Michael Zeller quote Star Trek correctly?” but it solves others, from why is it called Large Hadron Collider to why is it underground. My favourite, however, is Why is the LHC like a Werewolf?
