I mostly enjoyed testing the Logitech Keyboard for iPad back when I reviewed it; as long as you can deal with having to use it on a desk it makes typing on an iPad (or any Bluetooth capable device, really) quite pleasant. Logitechshop is currently selling off the Tablet Keyboard for a pretty keen $65 asking price, including delivery. [Logitechshop]
Microsoft’s latest rebate offering relates to its hardware division; this isn’t PCs but things like keyboards, mice and webcams. Buy any listed Microsoft product, and they’ll send you 30 per cent of the RRP in return. Where that gets particularly neat is that Microsoft’s accounting off its own RRP, not what you pay in store — so if you can negotiate a bargain on a peripheral, you still get the “full” saving back from Microsoft. The deal runs until the 5th of July, so there’s plenty of time to negotiate a good deal. [Microsoft]
Is there ever a time when Dell isn’t having some sort of sale or another? In any case, the current sale — which ends today — offers up to 30 per cent off the price of a range of Dell’s monitors and printers, as well as a small range of projectors and for some reason a briefcase. 16 inches isn’t a whole lot of telly, but then this doesn’t cost a whole lot of money; for $99 right now — $30 off RRP — Kogan’s selling off a LED TV with inbuilt PVR functionality; it’s also 12V compatible for portable usage. [Kogan]
Dick Smith’s latest deal is for an LG 3D-capable Blu-ray player and PVR dual tuner 250GB combo for $399. It’s certainly possible to put together a cheaper DIY system, but if you wanted a simple solution, it’s a fair deal. [DSE]
I can remember when any monitor over 17 inches would cost you a small fortune. Now you only need a very small fortune to get some serious screen real estate, like this Viewsonic 21 inch LED LCD monitor, which will set you back only $129. [MegaBuy via Top Bargains]
Xbox Live Gold is one of those things you’ll see the most value out of if you’re a heavy gamer — but if you are a heavy gamer, there’s always better things to spend your money on. OzGameShop is selling off Xbox Live Gold 12 month memberships for $45.99, a solid saving over the regular $79.95 price. [OzGameShop via OzBargain]
It’s iTunes special time again, although that’s one of those things that comes around quite often indeed. Today’s venue for cheap iTunes deals is Target, although it’s a slightly odd one. You’ll get 25 per cent off the price of a second card when buying one. Not quite as snappy a deal as we’ve seen before, but wait a while and another will no doubt be along shortly. [Target]
JB Hi-Fi’s re-running a deal it’s had previously, where if you buy a standalone Blu-Ray player, you can get any Blu-Ray title you’d like for half price. There’s a top limit of 30 Blu-Rays per player, although given they sell a cheap Soniq player for $79, if you wanted a lot of discs, you could pretty quickly make up the purchase price. A surge-protected powerboard is always a sensible investment, and at $29 ($60 below the regular price), this is an inexpensive way to ensure you don’t fry your precious electronics (and still includes a lifetime warranty). [Dick Smith via OzBargain]
