Ah, the endless ingenuity of the jailbreak community. Apocolipse’s forthcoming 3DBoard uses the iPhone 4′s sensors to lend the app icons a 3D effect when the phone is tilted. Hey, that’s one dimension cooler than your home screen.
The New York Times is independently confirming what the Wall Street Journal said earlier this week: a Verizon version of the iPhone 4 will be released in early 2011. Other than that, the NY Times doesn’t offer any new details we haven’t heard before. [NY Times]
This puts all the other iPhone plans from all the other carriers to shame. Dan Warne over at APC has discovered a loophole in Telstra’s cap plan structure that allows you to get 6GB of data plus a $49 cap plan for the iPhone 4 for just $78.50 over 24 months.
