If you’ve got a Droid, Droid X or Incredible, looks like you may have already been hooked up with the beta version of Google Instant for mobile, according to Droid Life.
HTC’s Droid Incredible is soon to receive an update adding a couple of new features – most notably an upgrade to its video recording tool which adds support for saving movies at 720p resolution. The update also lets the Incredible function as a 3G mobile hotspot.
As incredible as the, err, HTC Incredible may be, there appears to be a pretty serious bug locked in the Sense UI which takes screenshots of the web browser’s content, storing them even after a factory reset is done.
Specs? Leaked. Carrier? The VZW. Release date? It’s the 29th. The only remaining unknown for Verizon’s Droid Incredible, a Snapdragon-powered Android 2.1 handset from HTC, was the price, which was today pegged at $US200. Oh, and pre-orders start Monday.
It’s one of the leakiest phones of the year, but it looks like BGR has the official specs, courtesy of a well-placed source at Verizon – rumoured to be the exclusive carrier for this Android phone.
Verizon Wireless sure is busy. Word on the street is that they’re preparing to launch seven new phones, in addition to wrangling an iPhone deal if you believe everything you hear. HTC’s next Android wonder-phone, the Incredible, is next apparently.
