HTC’s Online Management Site Goes Live For Latest Androids

There is a catch, however: It looks like it’s only available for the Desire HD and Desire Z phones, which should be going on sale any day now. I signed up for it and attempted to use it with my plain ol’ Desire, but didn’t have much luck.

The WinMo-running HD2 was one of the first 4.3-inch phones we ever saw, and straight away I asked HTC if they would create an Android version. Flip forward a year, and we have the Android-running EVO 4G and Desire HD.

Today in London, HTC announced the launch of the HTC Desire HD, their new 4.3-inch Android handset. While we don’t yet know specific launch plans for Australia, we do know “major European and Asian markets” will get the phone in October. That should be us too, right? Right??

Leaked HTC Desire HD Video Shows Larger Screen, Dual Flash

An unusually well-shot and clear video has appeared online, showing off the as yet-unannounced HTD Desire HD. Looking more like an EVO 4G than the original Desire, it has a 4.3-inch display and half-matte, half-glossy back.
