Of all the tests we conduct when we review a phone, for some reason we’ve never checked to see how well a handset skips across a lake. But this guy has, officially ending the iPhone vs Android debate.
There is a catch, however: It looks like it’s only available for the Desire HD and Desire Z phones, which should be going on sale any day now. I signed up for it and attempted to use it with my plain ol’ Desire, but didn’t have much luck.
Today in London, HTC announced the launch of the HTC Desire HD, their new 4.3-inch Android handset. While we don’t yet know specific launch plans for Australia, we do know “major European and Asian markets” will get the phone in October. That should be us too, right? Right??
So many different names are being bandied about for T-Mobile’s “Project Emerald”, that it makes sense they’re readying two models. After all, we’ve heard about the HTC Desire HD and Vision, as well as the Glacier, Vanguard and G1 Blaze.
