As a kid, I used to pretend I was Luke Skywalker, using the Force to save the universe from the forces of the evil empire. As I got older, I realised that being Vader would be better (until the prequels came out at least) because he had power. But obviously that power didn’t come to him straight away, as this Volkswagen commercial shows.
Darth Vader was on hand at CES today to announce the forthcoming release of the Star Wars Blu-ray set. As long time fans of his work, we were thrilled to get the chance to ask him a few questions.

Games publisher THQ has released Vader Yourself on iTunes. It’s a Darth Vader voice distorter, just in case you still can’t get it right even after 30 years of practising with your head in a bucket.
At the same Star Wars Celebration V event in Florida where George Lucas announced the Blu-ray box-set arrival, he also showed off a missing scene from Return of the Jedi, which shows Luke making his lightsabre in a Tatooine cave.
