Next month, the world’s first Guardians of the Galaxy theme park ride opens at Disney’s California Adventure in Anaheim, California. And as the clock ticks down to the opening, Disney just revealed the six songs that make up the ride’s soundtrack.

The ride is called Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout and the story is that the Guardians have been captured by The Collector, so they need to escape. All of the film’s stars return, as well as director James Gunn, who shot sequences for the ride.
So everytime someone goes on Mission Breakout, they will get one of six random rides. The song will be different, the video will be different and the ride itself, the up and down of the escape pod, will be different. Here are the six songs, which are very much in line with a Guardians soundtrack.
- “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” by Pat Benatar (1980)
- “Give Up The Funk” by Parliament (1975)
- “Born To Be Wild” by Steppenwolf (1968)
- “I Want You Back” by The Jackson 5 (1969)
- “Free Ride” by The Edgar Winters Group (1973)
- “Burning Love” by Elvis Presley (1972)
We’ve gone ahead and linked each one of those so you can listen if you feel so inclined.
