Logan

Here’s another new snap from the cast, re-confirming the fact that the young girl in the trailer is indeed Laura Kinney, AKA X-23.

Director James Mangold discusses Wolverine’s new scars:

We questioned whether Logan’s healing factor causes him to heal without even a scar. We imagined that it may have when he was younger, but with age, he’s getting older and ailing. Perhaps his healing factor no longer produces baby-soft skin. So we imagined he heals quickly, still, but it leaves a scar. The simple idea was that his body would start to get a little more ravaged with a kind of tattooing of past battles, lacerations that remain of previous conflicts.

Avengers: Infinity War

Unsurprisingly, Wong will appear, according to Benedict Wong:

I’m thrilled I’m going to be in Infinity War. I’m looking forward to it, I’ll tell you that one first.

Captain Marvel

Kevin Feige has an update on when to expect more news about the movie:

I expect to have a director by the end of the year. We’ve been meeting amazing filmmakers, but often the way we work, as was the case on Doctor Strange and most of our movies, is that we have a … I don’t want to say a ‘road map,’ but we have a general view of what the movie is and then we meet with filmmakers and share that with them and then they pitch it back to us in a better fashion.

With Captain Marvel, there’s so much potential in the comics and there have been so many incarnations of her powers and the characters who’ve had that mantle that we’ve been focusing in on exactly how do we tell her origin. How does it fit into the cosmic side of our universe? How does it fit into what we’re doing with the next Avengers movies? So really, that’s what’s been delaying that particular announcement.

Doctor Strange

Stephen Strange is ready to save the world in two new TV spots for the film.

Game of Thrones

Last week we got the set pictures teasing it, and now we have the moment itself: Here’s a new (and slightly blurry) video from the set in the Basque Country of what appears to be the very first meeting between Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen:

Watchers on the Wall has an extensive report on recent filming for the series in Spain. First that the Almodóvar del Río castle is being used as a recurring location for the next series. There’s speculation the castle is possibly a stand in for Dragonstone, the former seat of power of Stannis Baratheon — except for the fact that extras required for filming there fit the profiles of Unsullied and Dothraki, seemingly indicating Daenerys will retake the stronghold for herself.

Other shots from this weekend’s shooting include an apparent scene where Davos and Jon see one of Daenerys’ dragons for the first time, seemingly bowling the young Northerner over in shock, and shots of a woman in red that may or may not be Melisandre at the same location. Head on over to the link to see much, much more. [Watchers on the Wall]

Supergirl

President Marsdin visits the DEO (and Supergirl fangirls out) in a new clip from the next episode.

Star Wars Rebels

Ezra and Sabine discover the grisly sight of a Mandalorian ambush in a new clip from the next episode, “Imperial Supercommandos”.

Legends of Tomorrow

Maisie Richardson-Sellers discusses playing the latest incarnation (well, earlier incarnation, thanks to time travel) of Vixen:

The Vampire Diaries

Finally, Candice King and Zach Roerig talk about what’s to come in the next season for Caroline and Matt:
