The iPhone 7 Is Out In Australia Now

The time has come. After one of the shortest waits between announcement and on-sale that we’ve ever experienced with any new iPhone, Apple’s latest and greatest is here: the iPhone 7 is on sale right now.

A few seconds ago, the doors at the Apple Store on George Street in Sydney opened, and the crowd streamed in:

And the #Apple #iPhone7 goes on sale in Sydney and around the world! #iPhone

Tell ’em the price, son! Oh, the price? For the cheapest 32GB iPhone 7, you’ll pay $1079. For the cheapest 32GB iPhone 7 Plus, you’ll pay $1269. You’ll pay incrementally $150 more for more storage on both models, with the 128GB iPhone 7 costing $1229 and the 256GB iPhone 7 costing $1379, and the 128GB iPhone 7 Plus costing $1419 and the 256GB iPhone 7 Plus costing $1569. If you want a Jet Black (good luck finding one!) you can only buy it in 128GB and 256GB capacities.

If you missed out on getting yourself an iPhone 7 or 7 Plus today, you can still order one directly from Apple, and carriers like Telstra, Optus, Vodafone and Virgin Mobile should open their ordering processes again at 8AM tomorrow morning.
