Now You Can Make Your Selfies More Interesting With Prisma On Android

If you’ve been seeing selfies of your friends that look like paintings, don’t worry. Your friends haven’t magically become artists overnight (most likely). Prisma — an app that turns your photos into paintings — has been blowing up over the past couple weeks on Apple devices, and it’s now available for Android.

The app was in beta for only five days, so this is a quick transition. At the time of this writing, it didn’t show up in a basic search on my phone, but you can install it through the Google Play store.

Prisma uses neural networks and AI to turn your photos into works of art. At its core, it’s an extension of the Instagram filters we’ve all come to love (or begrudgingly accept). However, to say it’s another Instagram clone would be doing it a disservice.
