The Emmy nominations were finally announced this morning, and, unsurprisingly, Game of Thrones was honoured a lot, including for Best Drama. Only The People v O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story beats Game of Thrones’ six noms — but that’s not quite all.
The only other genre-ish shows and stars that scored nominations were Mr Robot (Best Drama) and Rami Malek (Lead Actor in a Drama), Orphan Black‘s Tatiana Maslany (Lead Actress in a Drama), Sherlock (Limited Series) and Benedict Cumberbatch (Lead Actor in a Limited Series) and then Will Forte for Last Man on Earth (Lead Actor in a Comedy Series).
