Marvel
According to an interview the actress conducted with AARP, Sharon Stone’s minor upcoming role in the Marvel movieverse is indeed a superhero, with the actress only confirming to them that she has “heat powers”.
There are few major heat-based female heroes in the Marvel comics, with some speculation bizarrely pointing to Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends co-star Firestar as a potential candidate — but many still peg Stone to be playing an older Janet Van Dyne, returned from her abandonment in the Quantum Realm in Ant-Man, simply because she has previously described the role as being small. As ever, take it all with a pinch of salt.
Spider-Man: Homecoming

Predator
Shane Black discusses where the film sits in the franchise timeline:
Well, it seems to me if we set ours in 2018 which is when the film is set, then we can only be a prequel to that one (Predator 2), so you could say yes it exists, but people won’t be discussing it really. It’s in the midst of the mythology. It’s a movie that’s set in our present-day. Or maybe the day after tomorrow.

Hell yeah. It would be a blast. Do I get a skull face that’s on fire and all that stuff? Fuck yeah. I’m down.

Supergirl
TV Line reports that Tom Welling’s espionage thriller Section 13 is not moving forward at CBS. Naturally, in the wake of the news that Supergirl is looking to officially cast Superman for its season two opening, this has lead to furious speculation that Welling (who of course played Clark Kent for 10 seasons of Smallville) is being lined up for the role. Treat it all as nothing more than speculation for now.
Son of Zorn
EW reports that Olivia Wilde will guest star on the show, where she will voice the animated character Radiana, an ex-girlfriend from Zorn’s homeland Zephryia that he contacts when he doesn’t have a date to his human ex-wife’s engagement party.
The Flash
Producers are looking to cast a new regular role on the show, described as a “slightly older, slightly geekier contemporary” of Barry, who sets out to learn what Barry is hiding from the world while concealing his own secrets. [TV Line]
Gotham
Finally, TV Line has confirmed that the journalist previously named ‘Valerie’ in the show’s casting calls for season three is indeed comics character Vicki Vale.
