Lunch Time Deals: 20% Off eBay Tech, 50% Off JBL Headphones At JB Hi-Fi

When you’re buying your lunch today, you might want to take a moment and spend a little more. Gizmodo’s Lunch Time Deals posts point out any particularly good bargains for Aussie bargain hunters around the ‘net. Today, there’s a great 20 per cent off deal at a bunch of eBay stores, and JB Hi-Fi has cut the price of some JBL DJ-style headphones in half.

First up, there’s a great deal at eBay to promote its free Click and Collect service, which lets you buy items from physical stores through the eBay portal and then pick them up whenever you’re ready. At seven different eBay stores — in the tech world, that means Bing Lee, The Good Guys and Masters Home Improvement, although Tarocash, BCF, Cincotta and Rays Outdoors are also on board — you can save 20 per cent off your order by using the code ‘COLLECT’ at checkout. Browse the stores here; we’ve seen a Dyson handstick for $359, a Sony Full HD 55-inch TV for $1040 and a Seagate 2TB hard drive for under $100.

And, secondly, there’s a great deal from JB Hi-Fi on JBL’s S300i Synchros on-ear headphones. Down from their usual $119 recommended retail price, this week’s Instant Deal — it’s only available to members of the JB mailing list, so sign up and you’ll get a coupon — slashes that price to $59.50. Not bad for a pair of DJ-style, on-ear headphones that sound good by all reports, and that have iOS and Android-compatible in-line volume controls on the cable too. [eBay / JB Hi-Fi]
