Google Nexus 6P Now On Sale In Australia… Sort Of [Update: Get In Quick]

Google’s new Nexus phones are hard to come by in Australia, but if you’re quick, you can nab yourself a Nexus 6P from the official Google Play Store.

That’s right, Google has just put up the 64GB Nexus 6P for $999. You can get it here.

You had better be quick, though: the Google Play Store has a habit of selling out fast when it comes to new devices. Update: Be very quick. Google just send an email newsletter out to its Aussie customers saying that the 6P is now available in “limited quantities”.

The old Nexus 6 made by Motorola was barely ever available Down Under. When they did go on sale, they were gone the next minute despite the high price tag.

Speaking of pricing, Google does sell three different variants of the Nexus 6P — namely the 32GB, 64GB and 128GB models. Despite this, Google only seems to be shipping the 64GB variant right now. When the 32GB variant becomes available, it’ll be only $100 cheaper at $899.

The other new Nexus — the 5X — is also unavailable, also just went on sale for an eye-watering $659 for the 16GB model and $739 for the 32GB.

The 64GB Nexus 6P that’s up for sale ships on 2 November, so we ought to have more info on pricing for the rest of the range by then.
