LG G3 Getting Android 5.0 Lollipop Within Days

Briefly: Are you the lucky owner of an LG G3? Good news: you're getting Android 5.0 Lollipop for your phone real soon.

LG Australia has advised today that G3 customers will begin receiving Android 5.0 Lollipop as soon as 23 January. It's going to be a staged roll-out, with the last customers expected to receive it by the end of February. If you don't get yours straight away, hang tight, it's coming.

I got Lollipop on my G3 last week or even the week before...

Be wary, Lollipop ground my Nexus 10 to a halt and I had to factory reset it. Now the wifi is playing up.

strange, I've had no problems on my N10. In fact it feels quicker now than before.

Put Lollipop on my G3 on the weekend. CloudyG3 ROM - smooth, fast etc., everything you'd want from a ROM... except I can't make phone calls anymore. Fie!

I got my lollipop on 6 January, but mine was a grey import from Hong Kong. (and I hadn't turned on the phone since Christmas so I'm not sure when exactly it came down)

Perhaps this is referring to those unlucky enough to have signed contracts with Telstra, Optus and Vodafone to purchase their LG G3?

Got Lollipop back in November, Nexus ftw :)

My brother just bought a G3 and had it delivered last week which came with Lollipop on it. Bought from Kogan and is a grey import from HK.

Yet I still don't have it on my Nexus 5... Which I bought directly from Google a year ago...

Hope this applies to optus ones too.
