Sony Data Breach Actually Exposed 47,000 Social Security Numbers, Including Rebel Wilson’s

The Sony data breach continues to get worse. First, it was exposed budgets, layoffs and 3800 social security numbers, then it was passwords. Now, it’s way more social security numbers, including that of Australian actress Rebel Wilson.

The Wall Street Journal reports that analysis of the documents leaked so far included the social security numbers of 47,000 current and former Sony Pictures workers. That included Sylvester Stallone, Rebel Wilson and Anchorman director Judd Apatow. The Journal reports that the social security numbers are found alongside salary information, home addresses and contract details.

Add that to the thousands of leaked passwords, and Sony is in somewhat of a mess. Let’s just hope it doesn’t get any worse. [WSJ]
