Grandmas On Facebook Are Tagging Themselves Grandmaster Flash

Here’s a great social media trend: Grandmas on Facebook are accidentally tagging themselves as Grandmaster Flash. Apparently, nana didn’t get the message.

To be fair, it’s easy to tag the wrong name in a post, thanks to Facebook’s auto-tagging feature. You’ve done it before, but the difference is you almost definitely correct your post. A lot of grandmas apparently are not so quick to fix the mistake, if at all. Look:

Don’t push me ’cause I’m close to the edge! I’m trying not to lose my head! That doesn’t sound like my Gram. More like the hip hop pioneer, who confirmed that yes, Grandmas are confusing themselves with the OG Bronx DJ:

It’s true I get a lot of posts from Grandmas. Hilarious now I know why — – Respect Grandma and Grandpa. P.S. This is Hip Hop!

P.S. This is Hip Hop! I can see how grandmas are messing this up because the last time I logged onto my Mommo’s Facebook, she had everything defaulted to Pirate Language. [Grampaandgrandmasterflash via The Independent]
