Designed by Selma Durand as a master’s project for her design school, the bank features dollar amount markings on the inside of the ceramic container that are revealed as the inner brass bowl sinks under the weight of coins. Unfortunately you can’t buy one — at least yet — and it’s calibrated for Euros which means those outside of Europe will still be left guessing as to whether they can afford a Starbucks coffee or a McDonald’s.
