Telstra’s pre-orders for the iPhone 5c have gone live, and as a result, so has the carrier’s pricing. Here’s how much you’ll pay for a colourful new iPhone.
The new iPhone comes on Telstra’s Every Day Connect Plans, starting from a minimum of $71 per month on a 24 month plan.
Broken down, that $71 per month works out as $60 for the plan and an extra $11 per month in handset repayments for the 16GB iPhone 5C on a 24-month contract. The 32GB iPhone 5C will cost an extra $18 per month on top of the plan. That $60 Every Day Connect plan gets you $600 in eligible nation call credit, unlimited text and MMS as well as 1GB of data.
From there, the cost only goes up.
For the 16GB iPhone 5c on the $80 Every Day Connect Plan ($800 in calls, unlimited SMS, MMS, 1.5GB of data and Unlimited Nights on a 24-month contract), the 16GB 5c costs an extra $2 per month, while the 32GB costs $8.
On the $100 Every Day Connect Plan ($1000 in calls, unlimited SMS, MMS, 2GB of data and Unlimited Nights and Weekends on a 24-month contract), the 16GB 5c costs $0 extra per month, while the 32GB costs $4.
On the $130 Every Day Connect Plan (unlimited calls, SMS, MMS, 3GB of data on a 24-month contract), the 16GB 5c costs $0 extra per month, while the 32GB still costs $4.
