Watch A Star Explode, Live, Right Here, Right Now

Seems like whenever a star is discovered, it’s just a countdown until the inevitable crash and burn. It happened to Lindsay Lohan and Macaulay Culkin, and tonight it’s happening to the just-spotted star Nova Del 2013.

Watch this bright star burn out starting at 7PM Eastern (9am AEST). [Slooh Space Camera via National Geographic]
