Today, we’re longing for a piping cup of hot tea, and this cast iron Ciacapo Teapot will keep your drinks warm for hours, because it’s super heavy and thick.
The heavy-duty pot is beautiful — an old-fashioned style with a modern silhouette. It’s $US100, which is expensive for a teapot, but it has a timeless look that is hard to find. [COVO shop via BetterLivingThroughDesign]

Was this taken from the us site cause it is defiantly not cold in australia.
Defiantly not cold!
We're not cold, and we're defiant about it! We defy anyone who says we are!!
I know I could sure use some piping hot tea today. I'd just be afraid I'd drop the cup from my sweaty, sweaty hands from all this heat..
Come on GizAU at least try....
Don't discount the merits of a hot cuppa on a hot day.
I think it can raise your core temp, tricking the body into trying to cool itself more rapidly. ( I think)
it was like 35 degrees today. Keeping my kettle warm was not an issue for me.
Strangely enough where I live it's rainy windy and cool for the past couple of days. So giz kinda fluked here at least for me. Lucky!
Despite the whole "what world outside our US borders?" thing. A cast iron tea pot? For $100? On a gadget site? Really?
What next - that strange fandangled motorised horse-less buggy?
I swear that's just about the same design as the special teapot used by 58 Tour Eiffel, made with the same material as the Eiffel Tower. Will have to pull out the ole photo album.
