Is This The New 13-Inch MacBook Pro With Retina Display?

We’ve been expecting the new 13-inch version of the MacBook Pro with Retina Display to come out with the iPad Mini but here is more proof that it’s actually coming. Pictures of the upcoming laptop have popped up and show ports on the left and right side, the battery layout and more features inside.

The pictures look to be legitimate (but of course any Apple leak/rumour should never considered gospel) and if they are, the laptop will have the same port layout as the current 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display. That’ll be an SD card slot, HDMI and USB on the right side (above) and MagSafe 2, Thunderbolt, Thunderbolt, USB ports on the left side (below).

The forum poster also includes pictures of the logic board and other internals along with a screen shot listing the resolution of the screen as 2560×1600 (in Windows 7 oddly) but doesn’t include a full picture of the laptop. Again, this could be a complete fake. Or this could be the 13-inch laptop with Retina Display we’ve been waiting for.
