We didn’t have to wait long for an official announcement and details on HTC’s new Desire X, which was essentially confirmed as a goer a few days ago. The new model was announced yesterday at the IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin, confirming the specs and a September launch, but no pricing.
The product page for the Desire X is up at HTC’s Australian site. The dual-core 1GHz Snapdragon chip, 4GB of storage and 768MB RAM are mentioned, along with a weight of 114g, 802.11 b/g/n connectivity and 600/1200-minute talk times on CDMA/GSM and 833/750 hours standby.
What’s not available is an idea on pricing, though if we don’t see an RRP from HTC in the near future, I’m sure the telcos will deliver.
