That story that came via the Korea Herald the other day, proclaiming that LG was getting out of providing Windows Phone 7 hardware? Not so, says LG, although it is “focusing” on Android.
An LG spokesperson told Pocket-Lint that
“None of it is true. Korea Herald is showing its speculative side again. We are still on board with Windows Phone, but right now, we’re focusing on Android because that’s where the demand is. Regardless of which OS, LG is committed to offering consumers as wide a choice as possible.”
Good news for Windows Phone 7 fans, then I suppose — although it’s not as though LG has been a rich source of WP7 hardware to date. [Pocket-Lint]
