What do you get if you combine a pro snowboarder, and LED suit, and a deserted French ski slope? Maybe one of the most mesmerising sports videos you’ll ever see, that’s what.
Shot by photographer and filmmaker Jacob Sutton in the Rhône-Alpes region of south-eastern France, the video features pro snowboarder William Hughes carving powder at night, whilst wearing a custom LED suit. Sutton explains to Nowness:
“I’ve always been excited by unusual ways of lighting things, so it seemed like an exciting idea to make the subject of the film the only light source.”
The shoot required three nights spent on a skidoo in -25C temperatures, with hisRed Epic camera. I think it was worth the effort. [Nowness]

kinda... just kinda from a distance looked like he was surfing a cloud
Until he went through the trees :P
tron
needs some daft punk
Or dubstep... XD
Would have been nice to just see some full-speed motion though.
It's almost like what i imagine watching a thunderstorm from space would be like.
Pretty!
Shame about the frame-rate problem.
Cool....never know people can do this with LEDs.
