NASA Tells UFO Hunters To Stop Saying Words

Deja vu! Like on December 2011, UFO hunters claim they have found proof of a spaceship entering the solar system in NASA’s own video footage. This time, the spaceship has a triangular shape, so it must be an Imperial Star Destroyer.

The alleged starship looks huge, the size of a planet according to these UFO hunters:

NASA is trying to hide the situation now but you can still see the first two days of the object’s entrance at the lasco site. Click link below then input behind H12 for the telescope and the 26th through the 1st for the dates.

Comparing it for size to the planetary objects that are seen in this telescope, if my calculations are correct, that thing is enormous.

Except it’s not. It’s not enormous. It’s not a spaceship. Like the last time, this is an technical glitch. NASA had to publish a note explaining what happened. The answer is very simple: it’s an optical effect.

The answer lies on the exact opposite side of the image. At the same time as this strange-looking feature starts being visible, the very bright planet Venus enters [STEREO'S] field-of-view from the lower left. This is not a coincidence. The strange-looking geometrical ‘object’ is actually an internal reflection of the planet Venus within the telescope optics. This effect has been seen many times before.

Case closed. Do you guys really think that NASA — the guys who have spent quite a bit of time actually trying to find life and habitable planets outside Earth — would not announce an Imperial Star Destroyer the size of a planet entering the solar system? One available to see to everyone in public footage?

Come on, UFO hunters. You can do a lot better than this. Until then, please stop saying words. [NASA via Mother Nature]

NASA’s explanation is a load of bollocks. I don;t necessarily believe this is an “imperial star cruiser” either, but whatever it is is not just some internal optical phenomenon. Note how we can’t actually see what they claim it is a reflection of.

“it is not just some internal optical phenomenon”

      Proof?

NASA has offered a plausible, scientifically based explanation. You have offered… nothing.

“Plausible, scientifically-based explanation” , hmm? Explain HOW EXACTLY light from a spherical, 3d source reflected off of a 2d lens MAGICALLY creates a moving Rectangular Prism, complete with Shadowing!! Try at home kids, make your own fake UFO-

LOL! You Nasa trolls need to find new jobs.
PS. I’ll bet you were bummed that the Sun doesn’t have any damn Swamp Gas! ahh hahahaha…

So your saying that when you take photos and you get a lens flare, that’s not really the light hitting the internal optics if the lens in a way that concentrates light to one area of the image? It’s really just tinkerbell having an afternoon stroll?… If you manage to get a mild lens flare or look at a light source and have the correct angle you can see various triangles playing havoc with the image on the camera/camcorder, I’ve seen it myself a hundred times because it’s something that I have to avoid when taking images and pictures, I’m sure NASA’s lenses have more optics for light to pass through therefore more artifacts.

Exactly what Mattuso said. It’s a giant lens flare caused by the light of Venus. Case closed. Now shut up you alien loving hippie.

Let’s see, internal reflection, or triangular space-ship larger than the earth, traveling at near light-speed.

NASA, infact any government organisation would first and foremost deny any existance of other lifeforms, as it would almost certianly cause mass panic OR (even worse), cause a significant number of the population to change their outlook on life, and thus change their priorities. This could cause the economy to crash, etc.

“This could cause the economy to crash” well the people in charge of the monetary system are doing a pretty good job of that so far, also that panic excuse is sooo 1950′s, these days most people would look up shrug and put their faces back to their mobile.

it’s all very well to say that they would deny existence, and I think it is fair to assume that a small, one off event is something that could be hidden, but this “thing” is the size of a planet, travelling near the speed of light towards earth. how are they going to “cover” that up?
of course economy etc would change, but some things are unavoidable

It’s not necessarily the Youtube lunatics that bother me. It’s the fact that they’re applying ad revenue sharing to these ridiculous videos they post and the ones with many followers are making some big money off of NASA’s content. Remember the “Amazing huge cloaked UFO next to Mercury” nonsense from last month? That video has over 4.7 million views and he has an ad running on it. I like the fact that NASA lets us use their images and video but I’d like to see them put a stop to lunatics profiting from it.

Well, look at Independence Day, if what happened in that film happened in real life, it would come close (if not actually) put an end to racism the world over, and with racism always being the hot topic it is, NASA would have no reason to conceal such an opportunity to deal a strong blow to it.

Unless they want to violate PIPA and copy the alien’s intellectual property via stealing their technology and use it for their own military…

OK< Anyone that thinks this is a "light trick" or "reflection" is thoroughly mentally defunct….hahaha
The eyes and brain in your head must just be for show. NASA has been censoring crap like this since they bothered to show the unwashed masses, why else would they keep trying to extradite people like Gary McKinnon
from the UK, and others that have hacked into NASA's servers where all is laid out to see? Because they were founded by Werner Von Braun and all the other Nazi Scientists of the New Amerkia, and guess what, the dumber you stay the more money/power these filth accumulate. GOD forbid you learn of a world outside of this dingleberry that's been provided to you!

Keep drinking your beer and watching your sports, ya shlubs.

My humble opinion is that our own understanding of the laws of physics are both limited (so far as the wider universe(s) are concerned) and biased as a result of scientific conditioning.

The object is interesting and could be related to Kepler’s Platonic solid model of the Solar system: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johannes_Kepler

Whilst I doubt the object is a flying saucer, I am open to the idea that there could be other explanations (dimensional) concerning the observation.

Strange, every Telescope that has ever produced an “artifact” or lens flare has done so by producing a ROUND image not a triangle.
If these “glitches” are so common, then why are they happening now?
NASA really has little info on the topic of UFO, its all held by Lockheed and Boeing who are exempt from FOIA requests.

    This is so appropriate now…

“The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.”

    Sounds familiar!!!!

The real way you will ever find what is truly going is if you design, build, test, and send your own satellite and send and receive signals with your own antennas. NASA has edited many images before.

First which UFOlogists claimed this was a potential ET-UFO? Did they ask reputable UFOlogists like Stanton Friedmann? Anyway let this be a lesson to the UFOlogists, make sure to rule out instrument artifacts before making public claims.

There are many strong indications of non-human intelligence

Though many UFO may be unidentified military craft, we cannot claim that ALL UFO are military craft, consider the following:

July 29, 1952 USAF orders pilots to “shoot down” flying saucers over white house:

    http://www.roswellproof.com/ShootDown_INS_72952.html

Do you really believe that if the craft flying over the White house in 1952 were secret military craft they fly it over the white house, which is restricted airspace, not tell the president or the USAF, elicit a shoot down order and let it get to the point were the US military placed Antiaircraft guns around US airports?

    http://www.roswellproof.com/ShootDown_LATimes_80152.html

July 28, 1952 USAF admits that they have detected what appear to be “flying saucers” on radar and that they might be spacecraft from other planets.

    http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=3mEuAAAAIBAJ&sjid=G9oFAAAAIBAJ&dq=air%20force%20orders%20saucers%20merry&pg=561%2C2137136

April 7, 1952 LIFE magazine in cooperation with the USAF makes the case for ET visitation:

    http://books.google.com/books?id=ElYEAAAAMBAJ&pg=PA80&source=gbs_toc_r&cad=2#v=onepage&q&f=false

    Note conclusions 3 and 4

Conclusion 3: These objects cannot be explained by present science as natural phenomena-but soley as artificial devices, created and operated by a high intelligence.

Conclusion 4: Finally, no power plant known or projected on earth could account for the performance of these devices.

March 3, 1989 Shuttle Discovery astronaut radios to Houston “we have the Alien Spacecraft under observance”

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yKZ-b7qrs0#t=36s

Project Blue Book Special Report 14 (a scientific study of UFO by the US government) indicated that of all the UFO cases they studied about 22% were unexplained AND the more information they received of those 22% the LESS they were able to be explained.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Blue_Book#Project_Blue_Book_Special_Report_No._14

    There is much much more.
