
He’s not quite as big as the droids seen in the Star Wars movies, but Bladez Toyz’s upcoming Pump & Play remote control R2-D2 also won’t cost you as many republic credits as a full-scale replica.
In fact, when it’s available sometime later this year (dammit Toy Fair, you’re such a tease) the 26-inch tall astromech will cost around $US62 and will include a foot pump for bringing him to life, and a wireless remote.

Bladez Toyz, which I can tell is an ‘extreme’ brand given their use of the letter Z instead of S, also promises a few more Star Wars-themed additions to their Pump & Play line down the road. Though lonely Star Wars fans should probably not get their hopes up for an inflatable Princess Leia. [Pocket-lint]
