WTF?! I wanted an iPhone. Comedy writer Jon Hendren (@Fart) spent Sunday searching Twitter for hilarious (and depressing) tweets from kids hating on their parents for not buying them an iPhone, iPad or iPod. In some cases they did actually get one, just in the wrong colour! Now Jonathan Mann (@songadaymann) has put it all to music. Watch:
Everything that’s wrong with Christmas and consumerism right there. Not to say we don’t love buying shiny new things here at Giz — it’s just nice to keep things in perspective in a world where simply having enough food and water is a daily challenge for billions.

Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 3:39 PMWell that’s just sad. :D
When I was about ten I remember I was particularly ungrateful one Christmas. I’ve felt ashamed about it ever since and every Christmas I’m reminded of that shame. Good times. ;)

In Holland we have a Santa, but we also have Black Pete. If you’re good, Santa will bring you a gift, but if you’re bad, Black Pete will come and take you away and bash you.
Due to political correctness and parents being slaved to their moronic children, children en-masse have become ungrateful little demons who would be better gifted some time alone with Black Pete rather than getting anything at all from their wishlist.
Make no mistake, the greatest gift you can give to your child is the lesson that life is a constant battle and soft little kitty cats and fat little piggies get viciously eaten in the wild.

Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 11:13 AMSo the black guy is the violent baddie and the white guy is the hero who spreads joy and can afford millions of presents for kids everywhere? Kinda racist dont you think? The other lesson you should give your kids is cultural sensitivity and how not to be racist.

Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 3:32 PMThe sense of entitlement that younger people have frustrates me so much. If my kids ever pulled that crap I’d take what I did give them and give it to a charity. I am sure some other kid from a low income family would really appreciate it.
