Sennheiser’s HD 800 Get ColorWare Paint Job

Gizmodo AU

My eyes! So bright! We’ve seen plenty of examples of Colorware’s work before, from Dyson Fans to Macbook Airs. The latest lucky recipients of a ghastly/great paintjob? Sennheiser’s HD 800 headphones.

Taste is a subjective thing, and it’s worth pointing out that if you’ve got the cash to splash, you do get to pick the colours yourself. Presumably somebody, somewhere, thought these colours were great. [Colorware via Chip Chick]

So the style they’re going for is silly early 1980′s? I wonder why. Looks like something a Lego man would buy.

All it’s missing is bright green, then it’d be like wearing Windows XP on your head.
