What Will Happen To Apple Without Steve Jobs?

Steve Jobs has abruptly quit as Apple’s chief. It’s hard to imagine a man more synonymous with the company he created and ran, and his savvy and futuristic genius are undeniable. So what happens to Apple now?

Would Apple have ever created the iMac, iPod, iPhone or iPad without Jobs? Can they create the next ________ without him? Is putting so much faith, allowing such a cult of personality, healthy for a corporation? Will Tim Cook continue Jobs’s trajectory, or make the company his own? What will Apple, and the future of technology, do without the things that Jobs might have dreamt up and made real? We don’t know. Any ideas?

Ok, Steve is “an ideas man” sure…. But he has a WHOLE CREATIVE AND DESIGN team. Just because Steve quits does not mean it will all come to a grinding halt. Hopefully by now the culture is so ingrained in company that we will see more fanboi vs PC fights to come over various products.

Must admit though, the timing before the iPhone5 is interesting.

Oh didn’t you know? Steve ‘invented’ the iPod. And he ‘invented’ the iPhone.

People like Jon Rubinstein (developed the iPod) certainly had *nothing* to do with it! :P

Everyone will predict the end of Apple, yet they’ll continue to go on making boatloads of cash each quarter.

So in other words, exactly what’s happening now.

if a company with a cash more than american government goes bust, they might make heaps, as in heaps, of fatal decisions. so i think apple will be fine for another 10 to 20 years.

For many people Steve Jobs is a challenge, in the sense that, his achievements and persona surely desired by many.

With out Steve, Would Apple have been the same or will be the same? is totally matter of perspective and time oriented.

Steve is a Leader not just a manager, and as long as this tradition is kept, Apple can be same or better, ‘coz as someone pointed, they have good team and its all team work.

Well the effects aren’t going to be seen right away but after some time, maybe 5 years,Houston ,I think we have a problem!
Jobs isn’t the creativity and business mind beside apple no, he isn’t Jobs i mean was: He was the heart. So no matter what they say not even the same Jobs,he was the leader and Apple is going to have a hard time without him.
But at least he can rest knowing that he gave the best of him to the company and have nothing to regret but the ones to have to worry are the ones who are still inside the company. As hard as it sounds.
