Remember that tortoise a while back that got an office chair wheel for a foot? Apparently, doing the same to a GorillaPod tripod transforms it into a smooth-panning, camera system dubbed the CineSkates.
Cineskates Portable Tripod Dolly, a Kisckstarter project from Austin, Texas, consists of a set of Ballhead X mounts connected to wheels that attach to a GorillaPod tripod enabling fluid, rolling video. When they do hit the market (and they will), Cineskates will run about $US200, though a $US150 donation right now will net you the same. The Cineskate Kickstarter page has already raised over $US55,000 towards its $US20,000 goal, so expect so see a whole bunch of low-angle, rolling shots hitting Youtube soon. I couldn’t pick that up from the video.
Cheers

The give away is the fact that they are pushing it by hand and also the 3D schematic that shows that they are just tripod mountable wheels with skate bearings!
