Will Sony’s New Ebook Readers Ride The Comeback Wave?

The little details like what Sony’s new ebook readers will look like – and how they’ll differ from the disastrous legacy of the Sony Reader line – aren’t there. But Bloomberg’s news that Sony’s revamping its line is welcome nonetheless, especially given the roll the company’s been on lately.

What we do know? They’ll be slightly cheaper, though probably still not cheap. They’re coming as early as next month. And… and… and that’s about it! But the apparent successes of the S1 and S2 tablets and new stick-skinny Vaio Z have me pretty excited to see what else Sony’s got up its sleeve[Bloomberg]

I love my PRS-650! It’s a shame they’re so expensive compared with the competition which – can only be Sony’s fault.

Kindles don’t have ePub support, people! They’re like a “portable digital music player” that don’t play MP3s.

You’re lucky to get a 650 model. Never seen one. Sony local store rarely sees them. Supply has been so under demand. The 350 is a very nice reader. Solid. Well made. But expensive. Let’s hope they get a cheaper 6 inch reader sorted soon..
