I wonder if the iPad will ever impact on console sales? I’ve bought nearly all iPad apps from EA for $1.19 each, thats a total of about $30 for all games, almost a quarter of the street price for a new xbox game.

I know my console game spending has been dramatically cut, but how many others have started to ask about the value of a new console game compared to mobile gaming?

Obviously theres more depth on the console versions, but for quick gaming (anywhere) my iPad wins every time. And with the wireless streaming/mirroring to AppleTV coming in iOS5, how many more people are going to shun the console in favor of gaming anywhere on the iPad?
