Built by Darth Len, the R2D2 replica stands eight feet tall and is made of cardboard boxes ( 4 refrigerator, 5 air conditioner and 3 dryer boxes to be exact). In true geek fashion, it’s held together by aluminium tape, duct tape and glue. From start to finish, the entire project took him 50 hours to build. It’s big, geeky and gorgeous.
