260km/h. That’s how fast Nic Case’s Schumacher Mi3 was going when it broke the RC world speed record.
It took him six months and $US4000 to build it, using a custom handcrafted carbon-fibre chasis loaded with a 11hp motor powered by a 12-cell battery. His next car: the Streamliner, which he thinks would be able to reach 320km/h. [Gencept]
