Lulzsec And Anonymous Declare Open War Against All Governments And Fat Cats

Lulzsec and Anonymous have just declared full open war against all governments, banks and big corporations in the world. They are calling all hackers in the world to unite. Their objective is to fully expose all corruption and dark secrets:

Salutations Lulz Lizards,

As we’re aware, the government and whitehat security terrorists across the world continue to dominate and control our Internet ocean. Sitting pretty on cargo bays full of corrupt booty, they think it’s acceptable to condition and enslave all vessels in sight. Our Lulz Lizard battle fleet is now declaring immediate and unremitting war on the freedom-snatching moderators of 2011.

Welcome to Operation Anti-Security (#AntiSec) – we encourage any vessel, large or small, to open fire on any government or agency that crosses their path. We fully endorse the flaunting of the word “AntiSec” on any government website defacement or physical graffiti art. We encourage you to spread the word of AntiSec far and wide, for it will be remembered. To increase efforts, we are now teaming up with the Anonymous collective and all affiliated battleships.

Whether you’re sailing with us or against us, whether you hold past grudges or a burning desire to sink our lone ship, we invite you to join the rebellion. Together we can defend ourselves so that our privacy is not overrun by profiteering gluttons. Your hat can be white, grey or black, your skin and race are not important. If you’re aware of the corruption, expose it now, in the name of Anti-Security.

Top priority is to steal and leak any classified government information, including email spools and documentation. Prime targets are banks and other high-ranking establishments. If they try to censor our progress, we will obliterate the censor with cannonfire anointed with lizard blood.

It’s now or never. Come aboard, we’re expecting you…

History begins today.

Lulz Security

This is not going to end well. Or perhaps it will end well. Could this movement help change the world for the better? With the growing worldwide discontent against the political and financial establishment – in my home country and all through Europe people are organising to fight corrupted politicians and their greedy fat owners – I wonder if this may very well be the beginning of our May 1968. That was the time when the young French generations stood up against the government to demand a much needed change.

Opening the vaults of dark secrets and exposing corruption everywhere would certainly help towards that goal: Real change. Perhaps this is just the beginning of a quiet and angry revolution that will make the world a better place. Maybe making that information public will be instrumental to wake everyone up.

That said, exposing emails and private information from normal people or sinking ships that are neutral in this battle will not help towards that cause. That’s not good and will not help anyone but those who they declare their enemies.

But uncovering the wrongdoings of states and economical institutions? I’m all for it. [Pastebin]

Totally support you guys if you avoid the general public and totally expose corrupt governments/utility companies (especially in Aust and the crazy super high costs of living).

Heck, if you do it well, donations of $$ or hardware is not impossible!!

Governments make the rules, control the police, army and spies and have JAILS and in some countries DEATH ROW. Governments have a long memory, (Israel is still chasing the last of the Nazis).

If you take this road, you better really believe in the cause and be very good at good at hiding.

As long as they don’t declare war against LOLcats, I’m okay.

Pfft – bunch of hypocrites, most of these hackers. This is a PR stunt by them to draw attention away from their hacking of various legitimate organisations. Would be nice if these delusional, morally, philosophically and ethically bankrupt basement-dwellers were consistent and expose their own corruption and misuse of the internet for their own ends.

That, and most Governments are democratically elected and policed by a free press. Yes, there are secrets, but most ‘conspiracies’ that these twits rail about are actually common knowledge and reported in more intelligent media – they just don’t pop up on news headlines because mainstream media don’t run with it because most people don’t care – and here’s the clincher – because it doesn’t affect most people.

For example – Matt, you complained about the high costs of living in Australia. That’s primarily a combination of slack land release on the part of Governments (something that is well and truly publicly known and reported) combined with the mining boom taking people away from housing construction and into mining. The Federal Government is actually trying to train people to fill the void. There’s no ‘Davinci Code’ conspiracy, it’s bloody obvious what’s happening to people willing to think and research.

Unfortunately, most people aren’t, and get sucked into LulzSec and the like’s rather creative interpretations of the world. These kids need to spend less time in basements and more time actually making a difference to real people, rather than fighting imaginary enemies and making it harder for organisations to actually help their populations. Yes, there is graft and corruption(and a larger than average amount amongst internet hackers) but a carte-blanche attack on _everyone_ is hardly the way to do it. How about we declare a war on all hackers in retaliation for some of them stealing our personal information? Which is what they did – LulzSec have fessed up to compromising people’s security.

Sorry buddy, but someone has to tell you: “You are wrong”

I know you will not admit it, and that is ok – we are trying to open the eyes of people like you, and we wont stop till we lift the bar on knowledge and understanding within this world

There is so much hidden from you that it would take an age to describe it here.

Just look to the change that is coming, and let it fill that hole within you.

yeah its pretty easy to just tell someone that they’re wrong, but harder to actually prove it hey. ‘it would take too long to explain’ is a copout and the exact opposite of what you say you’re trying to do, but i wouldn’t expect any better from you guys anyway seeing as you are the same as the governments you are trying to tear down. ‘we know best, don’t question us’ means the same thing whether it’s coming from the government or the ‘revolutionaries’

          @ horsebane

you misunderstand me, it is not that i dont want to explain, or that i am using it as a cop out, it is simply that we will explain it to the masses over the course of our attacks.

The best thing however will be by letting you guys read all the good stuff we will dig up and release to you – so that you may make your own mind up on the matters at hand.

at the end of the day that is what is most important – that you have all the facts to make a well informed decision from.

Yup – that’s you Anon types through and through – we explain why you’re wrong, and present evidence, and highlight you philosophical inconsistencies, and you stick you’re head in the sand and say “you’re wrong”.

I’m sorry, but if I’m going to have someone fighting for my rights, I want them to have more than half a clue about how the world works first, and be able to explain. Trust me, I can take all the explanation you care to give, try me. But this kind of open warfare on any Government is just foolish, on so so sooooo many levels I don’t know where to start. Say you take down a health department’s system’s, and hospitals don’t receive vital supplies? All within the scope of your “War on Government”. Say you steal some classified documents on undercover police operations, make them public and some cop gets his family killed by organised crime (I note that you’re not going afte organised crime here – presumably you’re only going after Governments that follow the rule of law and won’t just off you in the night. But hang on – the whole point is they don’t follow the rule of law – so why don’t you go for organised crime as well?

It’s not hard to show you lot up as not having thought the issues through, or in some cases not having more than a misguided, semi-imaginary fictitious understanding of what you’re talking about. I’d be very happy for you to prove me wrong, but I’ve been following you lot for a while now, and you’re big on hype and hypocrisy, and very small on rational argument, results and making the world a better place.

“That system is our enemy. But when you’re inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.”

It’s an awesome movie, and I’m glad you’re watching things like this as well as (clearly) re-runs of the X-Files, but basing your philosophical approach on it? It makes for great high-school creative writing, but not so great for real-world making a difference.

Wasn’t there recently an article saying the US would treat cyber attacks as acts of war, and respond in kind?

Oh this is gonna be good…

Surely this open slather warfare at anyone whos anyone wont really amount to anything. Wouldnt it make more sense to make more concentrated, directed meaningful attacks\uncovering rather than just saying “please help us attack everything”…

That would involve these guys having a strategy, or understanding of the way the world works, or indeed a legitimate cause and not just an emotional itch to scratch and need for attention.

Sad really… a bunch of people thinking they can change the world. Get real people!

Remember: these ain’t no hardened criminals, these ain’t no long-term drug dealers. They know nothing of dealing with the authorizes, and hackers ain’t excalty loyal to each other.

So what’ll happen if one of ‘em gets nabbed by the jacks, and repeatly beaten to submission (and yes, if does happen more often than you might think).

Guess what happens then? Falling dominoes comes to mind.

The idea that this group of people can change the world is like me using a pair of chopsticks to solve gobal climate change. Possible but extremely highly unlikely… =P
