I Wouldn’t Be Surprised If The iPhone 5 Looked Like This

This is not the iPhone 5. But it will not surprise me if, come this September, it looks very similar to this prototype created by Antoine Brieux. It feels to me like a natural evolution to the iPhone 5.

I don’t know why it feels that way. Apart from making the next generation iPhone a piece of pure glass, this seems like the most logical way to further simplify the current design: One single body of metal encasing the electronics, sandwiched by two slices of curved glass.

Perhaps the only way to make it more Apple would be to take out the glass back and leave the pure metal, flushing the glass with the stainless steel body on the front.

Pretty, in any case. Thanks for the renders, Antoine Brieux from NAK Studio.
