German photographer Peter Langehahn has a unique approach to photography that literally captures all the memorable moments of a day.
He uses a technique called a “collective scene” that captures all the salient moments of a single day in picture. This effect is achieved by taking panorama shots from a single location throughout the course of a day.
In some shoots, Langehahn has taken over 3,000 photos which are painstakingly processed into a single image. From start to finish, the compilation can take up to three months to complet and the final image can take up to six hours to render. It’s well worth the effort as the resulting photograph is absolutely stunning. [Peter Langehahn via PetaPixel and FStoppers]
