Friday, April 29, 2011 at 11:26 AMIt looks too big and thick to be an iPad. It looks like a simple notebook.

Friday, April 29, 2011 at 1:42 PMI haven’t been on Gizmodo for a while thanks to articles like this that obsess over Apple. Gizmodo US is terrible. At least the Aus articles are good.

Friday, April 29, 2011 at 2:35 PMI agree. Anonymouse I think I understand the context quite well, I just don’t think it has any real need to be posted on the .au site. This sort of publishing is not something that Aus Gizmodo community would care to read. Well I don’t think it has a place here.

Friday, April 29, 2011 at 2:54 PMits funny, I had a chuckle. who cares if it is not ‘relevant’ to the AU community. what is relevant and what isnt??? who decides this???
personally, I like to keep aware of all news, whether it be local or overseas and a quick little light hearted piece like this is fine on an AU website.
and hell, if we are waiting for AU politicians to be shown using ipads or any other interesting tech and gizmo’s we will be waiting a long….long time.

Your friendly local editors!
We’re of the opinion that technology is mostly a global game these days, and in most cases there will be somebody interested in a story, even if it is US only. Considering the format we use, there’s nothing forcing anyone to read every story on the site… If you aren’t interested or don’t think it’s relevant, keep your mouse scrolling down past that particular story…
