Oh, hello there, PlayStation Phone! Here’s the clearest video yet of Sony’s mobile gaming messiah living out its main purpose: playing Resident Evil 2 and Rage Racer.
We’ve seen the hardware before, and a bit of the interface, but there’s a little more of a thrill that comes watching the phone play actual PlayStation games. Take note, though, that it looks like both games are being run through an emulator—meaning, perhaps, that the software’s not totally in place yet.
Still, looks promising so far! Although whether the Xperia Play turns out to be the natural evolution of PSP or another N-Gage trainwreck remains to be seen. Fingers crossed for the former. [Edge Magazine via Engadget]
