Telstra Now Offering A 365 Day Expiry Option For PrePaid iPad MicroSIM

Gizmodo AU

It was only 10 days ago that Australian MacTalk editor Anthony Agius published a way to get a 365 day expiry for prepaid iPad use on Telstra by cutting up a regular prepaid SIM card. Telstra must have been paying attention, because they’ve just launched a prepaid MicroSIM option for the iPad with 12GB of data and a full year to use it.

For $150, you get 12GB of data for the iPad and a full year to use it, which is 2GB more than the regular prepaid options. If you’re an iPad 3G user looking to take advantage of data on the go without having to pay month to month, this might be just what you’re looking for.

Hell yes – well done Telstra – you become slightly harder to hate each and every day.

Interesting idea but still not sure if it’s worth a +$150 to the price.

Galaxy with similar offer might tempt me. These “i” things leave me cold. Droid or nothing.
