Even though all versions of the iPad will be launching in Australia at the end of April, there is one feature that won’t be available at launch: iBooks. On the upside, a recent job ad indicates that Apple is certainly working towards launching the Aussie iBooks store, hunting for a manager to oversee the Canadian and Asia-Pacific (including Australian) stores.
The job is based in either Sydney or Toronto, and will oversee the process of Apple selling books for the iPad.
So while there’s still no official time frame for the iBooks store in Australia, at least we know that Apple are working towards making the Aussie iBooks store a reality…
