Zune video marketplace5Get ready to blow out your bandwidth, because Microsoft’s Zune Video Marketplace for the Xbox 360 launches today at 9pm.

As part of the launch of the service, Microsoft are offering some exclusive footage from Avatar to download (or stream) for free up until Saturday. Of course, free is a subjective term here, as it doesn’t count your bandwidth.

The footage wasn’t up when I left for work this morning, but If you have a fetish for blue people, it should go live at some point today.

Of course, if you’re with iiNet it is quota free!

sorry, but it isnt. I have been using, and because of a line in the iinet freezone terms of service where it says ‘excluding paid content’, movies still count towards your quota. Heres hoping that changes soon, cause the service is awesome.

Watchmen in HD is an 11.8Gb download… that would be an entire Month’s worht of Peak time for me. A Pity because I would have like to try it..

Well all I can say is… I’m with internode so I get unmetered Steam DL’s… xD hopefully some company could do a deal with MS for something similar.
