Mario Playing Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now Is Genius In Every Way

It must be Queen video recreation week. First there was the Muppets’ take on Bohemian Rhapsody, and now this Mario take of Don’t stop me now. Is there no end to Queen fans’ creativity? I hope not…
See, this’d be cool if the gameplay actually matched up with the music. As far as I can tell they’ve got four screens playing seemingly random games of mario, and then laid some bloopy reinterpretation of the song made out of mario samples over the top of it…
That was fantastic, although it is tricky to watch all four screens to see what parts match up. Good to see they managed to match the sfx with the song, with each on screen item matching an instrument or note.

It does seem to match up, as far as I can see.

I can definitely see a link between the sounds and the games. Just focus on the top-left corner, the lead singer, and you should see it.
