U.S. President Donald Trump stood near the charred remains of Paradise, California on Saturday (he called it “Pleasure”) and said that Finland doesn’t have problems with destructive wildfires because that country “rakes” the forest. No one, including the president of Finland, had any idea what Trump was talking about. But the comment did spark a new internet craze, leading virtually the entire country to get outside and do their “haravointi,” which is Finnish for “raking.”

President Trump’s former press secretary, Sean Spicer, famously insisted that the 2017 presidential inauguration crowd was the biggest ever. That, of course, was a lie. But Spicer eventually trotted out the photos to “prove” it. The part we didn’t know at the time? The White House had requested photos from the National Park Service on January 21 that had to be cropped to make the crowd look larger than it really was.
