After It was released, some of the excitement surrounding the film was about what wasn't on screen. Director Andy Muschietti teased that the home release might have an extended version of the film, plus rumours abounded of a gross flashback scene involving Pennywise devouring a baby. Now a list of the actual deleted scenes has made it online; while there's no baby-eating (damn), they do sound fascinating.

Everyone expected It to be a hit, but no one guessed just how big a hit It would be. The adaptation of the Stephen King novel had the largest opening ever for a horror movie ever and continued its momentum into this past weekend, crossing $US200 million ($251 million). We talked to the film's director and producer duo, Andy and Barbara Muschetti, to try and find out why.
