You might assume that Warner Bros.’ big new streaming service would have one of the studio’s biggest movie franchises available when it launches, but it won’t. And the reason is…well, actually kind of depressing for anyone who isn’t Warner Bros., really.
Ahead of the launch of NBCUniversal’s Peacock streaming service launch in April, its parent company is reportedly in “advanced talks” to buy ad-supported streaming service Xumo.
All of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again. Because literally, that’s what they’re doing, they’re rebooting Battlestar Galactica again.
