We couldn’t be happier that Lego master Chris McVeigh — aka Power Pig — is continuing to use his formidable skills to create brick versions of iconic cameras. Following up on his Leica M9-P he brings us this gorgeous Lego version of the Polaroid Land Camera 1000.
Lego master builder Chris McVeigh has cooked up a playful alternative to Leica’s obscenely and pointlessly expensive $US50,000 M9-P Edition Hermès. The Lego version doesn’t actually take photos, but you’ll also pay only $US38 for a kit if you can’t scrounge all the parts needed to assemble it.
We’ve had a lot of wonderful guest artists on Gizmodo these last few months. Chris “Powerpig” McVeigh is one of the best. Let’s take a look at his work again as we bid him hyvästi, including five new behind-the-scenes shots.
