Pine away no more, for the 16GB Wi-Fi version of the BlackBerry PlayBook can be ordered for $US500 at Best Buy from… now! Or it’s $US600 for 32GB or $US700 for 64GB. In other words, it’s the first tablet to match the iPad’s pricing, toe-to-toe. Which is impressive. And it’s coming out April 19.

RIM Rep Promises Android Apps For PlayBook
An unreleased video (above) from the Mobile World Congress earlier this month apparently contains footage of a RIM representative claiming that the PlayBook will “support Android apps when we release the Dalvik engine on top of QNX.”
